Across his career, Kevin Gates has been no stranger to concerts, and the concert tour scene. In fact, his first concert was held on January 1st 1999, at the Druid City Music Hall in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. After that though, he didn’t have a live concert tour appearance until 2010 where he had only 1 major concert appearance.

But following this, Kevin Gates had grown a reputation of delivering solid music and his local following expanded to the national scene. This led to a 4-week tour across the United States in support of his Stranger Than Fiction mixtape, which was also the first of his mixtapes to appear on the Billboard 200, peaking at #37.

A short time later, he would embark on the By Any Means Tour, which ran from July 15 to August 30, 2014. And that year saw one of his busiest concert schedules with 81 concerts played. He repeated that feat in 2015 when he embarked on his I Don’t Get Tired Tour that ran through much of the South.

But no one could have been prepared for his 2016 concert season, which saw Kevin Gates play 118 concerts total. This included a legendary show at the Mala Luna Music Festival in San Antonio’s Lone Star Brewery on October 30, 2016 as well as his appearance in Lille Vega in Copenhagen, Capital Region, Denmark on November 21, 2016.

2017 was a slow year for the performer with only 5 concerts played. But shortly thereafter, Gates played no less than 40 concerts per year, excluding 2020 when the COVID-19 pandemic forced him to cancel several dates.
